Deceptive product description. Most to the smaller thread gauges are actually just flat pieces of steel with no teeth cut in them. They show three different thread pitch gauges and state that it has 51 pcs. Not an sae gauge in the set.

I wish that i had bought this thread gauge sooner i had to guess what the metric thread pitch was on a lathe i was working on so i could make a thread adapter for a new chuck and i guessed wrong and ordered the wrong size metric thread tap

This is what i figured outon the site that says metrish the numbers correspond to the pitch between threads in mm the distance between two threads as is usually reported in the metric system

On the site what says withworth it is referring to the number as in threads per inch 4g means 4 threads per inch
