The base plate itself ensures the nail dryer sits nicely on a flat surface although unlike like other dryers i have tried it does come with a clipping mechanism which clips the base plate into place nicely with magnets which is a god send as other products seem to come with a base plate it just sits on and falls off when lifted

It comes with a typical standard charger not usb which is a shame because some other dryers offer usb to thunderbolt 3 fast charging therefore for this nail dryer to work it must be plugged in

If you are concerned that use of the light will tan your fingers then you have the option to use this to prevent that happening
