Pros

It heats really well, even in open space. Amazon basics has a 46,000 btu unit (mushroom style) for $175. This heater puts out some serious heat.

We're thrilled that this works so well. The manufacturer is superb! The build quality is fantastic with hardware that actually fit.

It has an actual usable tabletop since the gas line is routed through a leg instead of the center. It's not too heavy to lug around, put in storage, or move to another spot in the yard. The poles on it are so snug that you don't need screws on them.

Cons

Not externally visible, but an example of lack of care. Only works with 2 of my gas tanks. I hold down the button, it lights, but as soon as i turn the button and let it go it shuts off.

And the base came a little dented from shipping.

Maybe a handle with care sticker on the outside of the box would help during shipping.

It perfectly holds a 20lb tank which is exactly what i needed.

I love the modern look of it compared to the more traditional heat lamps that you see on the market.
