Unfortunately the old honeywell system did not have spare cables plumbed to or near the new location and doing so would have been expensive to get a contractor to pull new wire and connect the door to the vista panel

Installation of the unit to the panel was simply 4 wires plus programming

In my case i had to extend the wiring 4 feet for my mounting location
