The ties are flexible, but the lock portion would bind on insertion and pop out. They are very thin, not strong at all.

Flexible composite material has a nice stretch and doesn't break.
We've found a 1/15 or so initial failure rate rather than 1/3 of other quality ties.
I did return this product but i still believe this zipties are good quality

I use these in my antique shop to attach price tags to inventory.
I use them when i decorate for the holidays and these are a great price and work well.
The price was good for a slew of them and they will work fine for my purposes for quite a while.
80% less for more money at the big box stores.

When strength is an issue we have thicker zip ties but often just need to hold something in place

I bought 834 from another place and they have a much higher failure rate in the little tab inside the heads

For small zip ties they hold tight haven’t had one come loose or back off
