Pros
The stovetop feature helps with searing meat. The easy to use controls make it a cinch to use. Great for browning all meat before putting into the slow cooker.

This is the best crockpot i have ever used. It's lighter and my hands are getting older, and with a 3/4 or even half full crock, that is a lot of weight. Also don't have to worry about breaking or cracking crockery.
The surface is non-stick so it cleans up easily. Can use it on the stove and clean up is a breeze.
The timer is adjustable to any amount of time you want and automatically switches to warm when it's done.
Cons
The control knob melted after 18 months making it unsafe to use. The display shows only one digit. It is very disappointing.

Looked at all the stores and either the lid was too fussy hard to clean the unit was wonky just flimsy

I do not understand however why hb doesnt put a handle on the lid which can withstand oven temperatures

It does sear meat on the stove and that is a nice feature although when i made short ribs yesterday i browned them in my cast iron skillet simply because there was more room and then transferred them over

Handles do require pot holders so wouldnt recommend using around kids
