The cap still stays on and not at all loose when i make this adjustment. It’s still very functional and fits regular pencils.

A little big for budget pencils

Just like the picture except there’s a tiny hole at the end where the lead sticks through a tiny bit

Although i was taken back by the hole on top of each cap letting the tips technically exposed but simply adjusting the cap a little higher will prevent the tip being exposed and still being protected
