Pros
New version has a red lens cap so it's easy to tell at a glance if it's covered. Ring light around the camera is adequate for my purposes.
It is plug and play and was very easy to set up. Works well up to a couple of inches (maybe closer) powerpoint allows for live video to be added to slides. Solid option at this pricepoint.
Good resolution without overly burdening an rpi 3b. Video quality is perfect, never stutters or glitches.
Ring light produces great lighting with no big-ring weirdness. Ring light has 3 different mode colors.
Cons
Pressed more * hoping to reset the camera or remote and the ir on the camera turns a dim red and stays on. Usb 2 completely lacks the bandwidth to send anything close to 1920x1080 60fps so the image is either heavily compressed or more likely, the sen... Read More
Tried another set of fresh batteries and nada. Contact customer service and got canned responses after detailing everything. Will not stay connected in a call and completely disappears from the computer requiring reboot.
Not plug and play at all. Useless and a water of money. Not worth the hassle. Can't use headphones to stop the feedback issue.
Highlights
Quality
This one works great takes up little space and has fantastic picture quality in bright lights, dim rooms or while traveling.
It takes clear video and the microphone is outstanding.
I don't know how long the camera will last, but i will update if anything goes wrong or if i have any technical issues.
The picture quality is better but i don't know if its the camera or zoom updating its video features or a combination of both.

This is a nice camera for the price point.

As with seemingly all cameras you mount on your monitor there needs to be a better way to secure the camera to the top of your computer monitor

I just received this today shipping was delayed by a day but that has nothing to do with the quality of this camera i am a veteran and not paid to endorse this
