I have issues with my back & shoulders & i cannot believe the strain this has taken off of me when i need to maintain any of my equipment.
You wouldn’t want to be using this for mounting your tv on the wall or for putting up curtain poles and therein lies the dilemma.

The screwdriver itself doesn’t have enough torque for anything but micro projects and for these like repairing electronics or similar one would be better served using handheld and manual tools which can be applied in very small spaces and with the sort of control that one would need to feel rather than simply relying on the rather detached power of this driver

The instances where one would like a bit of power i suspect this device simply would not have the torque to help you

Thus for instance opening the case of a pc is often really difficult and one needs a screwdriver with some heft behind it

Maybe once inside you could use this screwdriver as reviewed but then one would be in some pretty fine and precise territory where handheld and manual devices would be preferred anyway

One instance where it might be really useful is where one is perched up a ladder fitting curtain poles with those dreadful grub screws that fall on the floor below you and disappear just when you are balancing curtains and rods and poles and desperate to get a few supporting fixings in armed with nothing more than a really awkward allen key

I wonder however in this example whether the set as supplied would be too long to get in there and even if it did whether it would be able to summon enough torque to get some of the fixtures home

In conclusion then this set is beautifully presented and really looks the part and it would make for a really nice present for the electronics enthusiast but duncurin suspects that there is a little less substance in real world conditions than style
