I've been using them in mild steel ,and they are holding up very well.
Bit stopped cutting after about 40 seconds and yes i stopped and used coolant.
Tried it on exhaust flange after cutting off seized bolts.

Ended up using an old hss bit and a sae tap to do the job

Unfortunately i only needed it for one hole tap and i pretty much had to buy an entire set
