Some of these screens from china have incomplete, or totally incorrect instructions on hooking them up.
It worked just fine with my pi 5 without the modifications to the config file.

The main thing that i dont like about it is that when you press the button for the on screen menu the menu is entirely in chinese

I do not read write or speak chinese so i have absolutely no idea what the menu options are
