The instructions wisely recommend a second person to help lift the surface onto the assembled base but i was able to do it myself easilyimitate at your own risk

Edit 1112 i was missing the screws for the cable management tray not sure if they were not sent or i didnt grab them out of the box before throwing it away

The motor isnt entirely quiet but as i said it isnt loud so it isnt distracting or acting as an interruption

Second im not sure what happened during the shipping but the box was barely on the desktop when i got it and there are several dents on the edge on one side from not being properly handled
