At 10 my camera did have difficulty with the automatic focus and i had to switch to manual and like a magnifying glass i had to move move forward and back from the subject to get it to focus right and the slightest movement caused it to lose focus

Also like any magnifying glasses the mid stayed in focus but the bordering quarter of the pictures blurred a lot
