Pros

Loosen every screw including the side edge ones. Take care when unplugging the connector to the existing battery and remember to remove the blue plastic from the new one.

My laptop & battery are over 2 years old and used extensively. This battery is one third of the price of the oem dell battery. There are others that are cheaper but this one at least comes with a warranty.

For the initial use, discharge it to 3% and then fully charge it to 100%. For normal use, recharge immediately when the battery is reduced to 3%. It's fully charged and is accepted by my computer. Lasts almost 3 hours playing video and very longtime o... Read More

Cons

Tried troubleshooting it for a day before determining there is a problem with the battery. Died after installing it 15 months ago. Just buy oem. Uninstalling to return it now.
