Packaging/appearance

Right out of the box, this tripod folds small, light weight and easy to carry around.

The quick-release hinges make collapsing the stand much easier than my previous tripod.

Competitiveness

However, using it as a selfie stick isn’t on my list of things to do, though it is nice to have the option in a pinch.

The esddi aluminum tripod is solidly constructed and has a great ball head.

A big step up from my older cheaper plasticky tripod.

It could also be used for a selfie stick if you wanted.
