Sometimes windows has trouble ejecting it although with so many factors usb hub the hitachi drives motherboard chipset cpu bios im not going to assume that the enclosure is at fault especially since the same drives worked fine on the mac and a different pc

No complains with performance or reliability however the small fan makes an annoying sound that i find distracting

I finally got the raid 1 mode working and it was slowwwwwww but in jbod mode and using some software to manage the files speed is greatly increased

As others have stated the space for connecting drives wires is very tight but its a very minor issue considering the compactness of the device

Also upgraded my mac pro 31 to include a newertech 4 port esata pcie card from owc
