Very happy with the battery and the capability it enables in the modem.
Our internet provider sold this item but it was twice as expensive for the same exact item.
That works to do a reset; so, we are happy with the battery because it eliminates at least one source of trouble.
I decided to look for this product on amazon because my cable company wanted to charge 3x as much for the same product.
Price
Sadly i now have this battery i don't need and it will cost me as much to send it back.

As it is now it is very hard to figure out if you are getting the right battery for your particular modem

Obviously didnt wait to see if it was good enough for 8 hours of backup so just hope it works at the time of the next power outage i did wait 6 days as instructed before testing for battery to complete charging process my modem is an arris surfboard is model tm822r but this specific letter r was not covered in the ad and the specifications did not indicate the dimension of the battery so one was left hoping it would be a fit
