Pros & Cons
Pros
Each skillet has its own lid. Added egg for a sunny side egg. It is a heavy pan, nicely made, with a great lid that fits well.
These are easily just as good if not better. It's too early to comment on durability, but so far everything looks promising. My third purchased product from this company.
Easy to clean. Heats evenly. It heats up quickly and evenly and it cleans easily.
Cons
The idea of the hexagon design looks fancy. It is very happy to use this wok for cooking until the coating starts to peel off after 8 months using.
I have concerns over the materials used and suspect the faulty one is not safe to use as the materials fleck into our food. The heat creates a soap foam that oozes out and into your food. Concern is that this will contaminate contents going forward.
After scrubbing and scrubbing, it looks better but will never look new and clean again. Inside layer also start peeling off recently.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to clean up, cooks evenly, not too heavy but is definitely heavy duty!
Great product - heavy duty, solid, professional grade for sure.
Sautee, seer, stir fry, simmer and i get to use metal utensils!
18/0 has no nickle in it and is least durable.
Price
Great value for the money and especially with lids for each pan.
Thats not the case even with pans that cost $300 a pan each you cant just heat up a pan and plop a raw egg on it and it not stick at all.
A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for.
I would say if you on a budget or just can't afford the 300+ then go for it.
Packaging/appearance
They were all individually bubble wrapped and in a felt type bag.
As soon as i open it from the box i seasoned it and cooked an egg with just a few drops of oil.
The product came beautifully packaged and the pictures do not do it justice.
One thing i can say, it's a great looking pot in and out, didn't expected honeycomb on underneath.
Competitiveness
I bought the 5 qt pot, because it was the closest thing i could find to either of the sizes i need, without buying the hexclad ... Read More
This product works as well as hexclad, but better.
Similar to hexclad, lids are just lighter weight.
