Pros
Strong, solid, well made screws. All others can be taken out and reused like back in the day. They still look brand new!
Used these on my cedar and pt fence. Used them for the hinges for a large plate glass shower door. Used for stair railings and outdoor residential structural repairs. What makes these stand out is the drill bit tip of the screw.
Cons
The steel used in these screws is very soft, so it is very easy to either strip out the square drive or break the screw at the shank when the screw encounters resistance. Stripped heads 25% of the time.
The metal performs like pot metal, so what good is so-called stainless steel if it is too soft to perform? They state they are self tapping.

Wow, nice hardware, even just nails and screws, really make a difference in durability and esthetics.
The stainless alloy used gave outstanding performance.
Back it out slowly or use vise grips to back it out, start fresh with a new screw and driver bit.
They're screws, sturdy hard not brittle, not soft with lead like some awful 2lb strippers .
Price
Living at the beach requires stainless screws for decks and other wood projects and these are great quality for a great price.
Pre-drillgo buy a 6 inch cheap drill bit, harbor freight has them for $2.
While a bit costly they are the long lasting solution for that issue.
Competitiveness
Square holes, be sure that's what you want instead of a phillips or star.
If you want greater quantities, go to a large canadian hardware store.
I think the shank is slightly thinner than most #8 screws.

These are a requirement for outdoor use unless you dont care about screws rusting away

The price would be better in larger quantities but everyone need as least a few packs of these around a house especially if you have an old structure needing repairs
