The hood cannot screw in the bw 39mm filter

Like most hoods the front end is larger than the back end requiring a larger cap but because of the drum barrel design you can have a cap that is attached to an elastic band instead of fumbling around with trying to stash the cap some place

While i love my olympus pro lenses the one thing that has always annoyed me about them is their fragile ridiculously overengineered hoods that frequently fall off whenever i accidentally bump the release button which happens a lot when the camera is hanging on my side while walking or hiking
