Heres the problem the instructions clearly tell you to secure the rear gripper to your controller and then lever the front gripper around the front edge which then pops two hard pegs into the headset mount in the front

This is not a big deal on the cheap plastic of my white xbox one controller but is absolutely going to scrape up the finish on an elite controller or even anyone that has a limited edition finish

Last note the design requires you to remove the clip to access the controllers battery compartment so if youre using rechargeable aa nimh batteries like i am the shorter battery life means this will get annoying very quickly compared to regular alkaline aas

It fits really snug on the controller though i do have to take my phone out of the case to be able to fit it in there a few extra millimeters of space for phones with cases would be nice
