Are clicky but not mushy. The battery life is excellent.
Build quality is top notch, pairs with every device i tried. Will always trust this company's products. Their compatibility and options are so great. Never suffers from drift.
The controller runs great when it is plugged in. My favorite part is the replaceable battery pack.

Packaging/appearance
I literally just pack this one controller in order to game on all those devices.
I created an emulator box, and she plays with it every day and enjoys it a lot.
But the box is bent because of poor packaging.
Competitiveness
Feels great, not as sturdy as the main brands but only just slightly less so.
The 8bitdo pro controller is probably the best configurable controller on the market right now.
The battery life is better than the official controllers from nintendo and xbox.
I was looking for a more cost effective/better alternative to the switch pro controller and 8bitdo has been on my radar for a while now.

However if you want to use it with multiple of the same kind of device you will need to unpair and reconnect unless there is another way through the software for the controller which i have not found

Another issue is the back buttons for the controller are not programmable inputs they can be configured to copy any other command from the controller and that is it

So you can have right trigger and right back button both be shoot but you cant map the button to be something a controller would not normally have like an automatic prone button

Even if you are on pc this is still a thing the back buttons can only copy one of the other programmed inputs from the controller they cant be unique inputs
