Overall i am impressed by the feel and build quality of the gamepad.
I was using a ps4 controller with the 8bit do snes bluetooth receiver but it just didn't feel right.
I’m using on a raspberry pi zero w.

Firmware is updated regularly from the 8bitdo site and dealt with a lot of my issues.

Still i wouldnt order it if i knew that the color would be dark blue i would get another color for sure

Out of the box i synced the pad with my pc via bluetooth however subsequently was not able to connect

I’m using the in built bluetooth on the pi after a few false starts it connects first time and every time

I do recommend the latest retropie though and make sure you add the command line for 8bitdo controllers otherwise the connection will drop out as will your hair as you pull it out trying to figure out what has gone wrong

There are lots of guides and as mentioned in other reviews if using on pi use either the x input for windows or b input
