Pros

Hall-effect magnetic sensor makes the joysticks less prone to wear, and thus, drifting. Programmable back paddles are a nice touch as well. The d-pad is one of the best in the business (tooled after the original snes or nes designs).

The vibration of the controller is very nice and syncs well with gameplay. It has a very solid construction to the body that doesn't bend or creak. There is a textured back to the handles so it gives a more stable grip.

Charging dock is very useful and has worked great. The coolest part is definitely the charging station. Can charge the unit directly plugged to a cord, or charge through the base.

All i have to do is flip the toggle on the back of the controller now to change devices. Never had any connectivity problems again after that. Plugging in the device to the pc sets it to xinput -- xbox mode.

Cons

Controller is much worse than i expected on pc, which saddens me as i am a proud owner of an 8bitdo pro 2 controller. Constantly connects and disconnects. Wireless game controllers are such a scam.

If pc is your intent though and you won't play on switch ever, you can save $10 by getting the 2.

The same company makes a dongle that i tried to use for a similar purpose.

I even bought the buttons from 8bitdo in order to convert it to xbox layout abxy.
