Not only is the layout similar to an xbox one controller, the ergonomics are somewhat similar too. Right bumper still clicks like it did fresh out of the box. It basically mimics the xbox pad layout which is nice too.

Using a small usb-c hub allowed it to be recognized. Steam recognizes it as an xbox controller and lets me know which games are compatible with it. This is what was required for my acer aspire 515 with amd ryzen.

The textured grip works/feels very good in the hand but doesn't feel like it would become bothersome.

This wired controller is an amazing value. It's so hard looking for a non-detachable wired controller nowadays. Comes in a wireless version for windows/ linux/mac/android.
