The wired ultimate controller is great for not only your xbox console generations, but for pc as well. D-pad works well for retro-style games. This is a must have for any gamer that prefers wired or even just wants to try wired out.

The fit is amazing, the sides where your hands grip is almost completely vertical instead of diagonal like just about every other xbox controller. The back of the controller has a nice hard plastic texture to it.

Only setback is that it doesn't work on steam os via steam deck wired/bluetooth. The only one i've had from them without problems is their genesis-inspired m30.

The controller has two mappable buttons on the back that the user can program using the 8bitdo ultimate app.

I then remembered it said something about a firmware update program, downloaded the updater from the 8bitdo website and updated to 1.

Competitiveness

After having an 8bitdo controller for my switch, i decided to test this one for my xbox.

I grabbed this as a backup for my xb1 controller, and as a 2nd player on those rare occasions when there's actually 2 players.

It fits the existing xbox controller style well but with their own 8bitdo tweaks.
