Connectors appear to be gold contacts as advertised however it does not have the ferrites bulbs next to connector on either end as pictured

Would have given it 5 stars but yesterday i plugged it into my asus transformer tablet to watch a movie on my hdtv and there was some static present on the screen

Like whenever you would try to watch a cable channel back in the 80s and it did not come in quite 100 clear

Youll want one if you have a mobile phone like the windows phone 7 or a newer camera with minihdmi like our canon t2i
