When you unscrew the pen in the middle you will find the slot where you can plug to charge it

The socket looks like a micro usb but is sunk into the pen and requires the bespoke lead to connect to it

The onoff switch is tiny and impossible to switch with your fingers but i just used the end on the pen to move it

You can then start and stop recording using the button on the end

There is a tiny status led but this is not visible when clipped to your jacket pocket to give away that all is not as it seems

The recordings are stored as wav files there were also two strange mp3 files stored on the pen a version of strawberry fields was one so other formats can be stored
