Pros
Imac's exterior door makes it very easy to access the existing memory. Wife's m1 mbair is still a better machine, but we are comparing with a 2013 mbp. I recommend everyone with memory stained imac should do a upgrade.
Great product. Went from 4gb ram to 16gb. Which reminds me, i need to order again soon lol.
Cons
A-tech has earned the title of crappiest customer service in the frikkin' universe. Short durability. Not durability. Tried to upgrade 2012 mac book pro, had multiple crashes.

My macbook mid-2012 boots up faster and all apps and web search engines open faster so i'm satisfied.
But this product claims it does for this version of the macbook.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging sticker states that it is a ddr3 but the stickers on the actual memory cards state ddr3l.

I bought 2 8gb cards so we're running 24gb of ram total now and it's made a world of difference.
