Pros
Great easy to setup and use. Image appears instantly and i don't see any loss in quality. It's also lighter and easier to cable manage as a result.
Cons
When it working it was faultless. Usb peripherals just randomly disconnect to the point i can’t rely on it.

The old one was very basic and did not handle the special functions keys for volume etc on my keyboard nor did it pass through the thumb buttons on my mouse

I noticed that it does not make any sounds the previous unit beeped every time i switched inputs and there was an audible click

I have noticed that occasionally if i copy ctrlc and paste ctrlv something and them move to the next cell in a spreadsheet using the cursor keys that it will flip inputs and i have to use the keyboard shortcuts to flip back again which can be a little frustrating so it would be great if this could be addressed in a firmware update or possible give us a companion app or some other mechanism that would let us customise the keyboard hotkey combinations

I experienced the same issues others have mentioned where my keyboard was scrambled almost like every key press had the ctrl key pressed down and required me to plug my keyboard into another port and restart my computer

Im not sure if this is because im using a higherend gaming keyboard but regardless this functionality unfortunately does not work as expected
