Hdmi port allows me to connect my laptop to external displays for extended desktop or mirrored display. Has multiple usb plug-ins and one hdmi input. Works great with my mac desktop. Single plug connects keyboard, mouse, camera and headset.

Cons

This is advertised as a usb 3 speed hub. This defeats my purpose of needing a docking station. This adapter has 4 usbs and 1 hdmi, i'm using all of them and the performance is very inconsistent.

Very happy with this overall and would highly recommend it especially at just under 100 dollars.

It is cheaper to buy this one than to buy the adapter individually.

This includes docks that are twice the price.
