Pros
Remotes come with button battery (old ones required 9 volt). Looks like the case and layout are based upon an older design that used a 9v battery.
Cons
Remotes only have + and -. The instructions that came with them are vague.

Has excellent range, almost as good as the original remote.
I simply set the dip switches (12 on my original opener) and the remotes both worked great.
The covers pop off, with no sliding action at all - i did scratch the surface before realizing the instructions were wrong.

This is the only remote that i have tried out of 5 attempts this was the last regardless whether it worked or not to work with as a at85p replacement on an 8485 genie gs800

This was for a 9 switch remote make sure you read the instructions there is a jumper switch on the circuit board that needs moved for 9 vs 12 switch
