Pros

Brightness is twice as bright after the change from a normal h4 to led. It is much brighter (that's a good thing). Light output and distance are greatly improved.

The low beam is clear and wide to cover everything in front of you, as well as the side of the road. Note the sharp cut off on low beam with the proper dip for oncoming traffic. I ride at night a lot and this has made it far safer.

Online instructions explain how to seperate bulb from plug for installation. loosen the two small silver screws on the side, rotate the collar, and tighten the screws again.

The sealight fit perfectly and the difference in lighting is dramatic. Perfect fit and normal installation on my 2008 v-star 650 silverado. Only complaint, it is difficult without removing the whole headlight to install.

Cons

Did not last 2 weeks. The throw is faded and about 4’ in front of the bike. With the voltage capacitor and the extended length of the led light, the headlight cannot be attached to its housing.

Unfortunately, only a couple months after, one of them failed.

Good affordable choice for an led upgrade.

Great value, easy to install and looks great!

But by doing it myself it saved me maybe $100 dollars i would have spent at an indian dealership.

Only time will tell, plus for the price, i'd but another one and go from there.

Arrived in 2 days, for use on my 2001 kawasaki zrx 1200.

They arrived very rapidly, and since i'd already done the work to make the install easy, it was a snap.

Not long after, i received a text on my cell phone, identifying itself as sealight customer service, and asking about my problem.

I found this bulb, ordered it, received it quickly and installed it on a flash.

Packaging/appearance

Nice packaging - which is always a good start in my opinion.

Competitiveness

They are far superior to any other brand i have tried.

I have a drz 400, and this makes a hell of a difference.

I tried the sylvania silverstar zxe and ultra stars i tried the piaa extreme white and several other led bulbs.

I have tried several different replacement bulbs in the headlight but none of them made much difference.
