Pros

Great diy fix. Just don't crank down on anything.

Use very short burst when recharging the compressor/ fridge with freon. Installed it on our wine fridge. Works fine with my samsung refrigerator.

Piercing valve installed on low pressure line without the shims. Adapter to qd fittins is a plus. One small issue is that the provided cap will push on the schrader valve and cause a leak if * in all the way.

Cons

Seller deceptively labeling the listing as item package 2. Received 1 total, not 1 package of qty 2. No reply when sent a help with order for incorrect qty.

So easy to use and very good quality.

This was needed to add it to the system, worked great and i fixed my wine cooler.

Easy to assemble but without installation instructions- one mistake and the low pressure line puncture renters the unit useless.

Piercing valve installed on low pressure line without the shims and doesn't appear to have leaked at one week after installation.

Price

For $10, about 15 minutes of youtube research, and 30 minutes of work, saved a few hundred of replacement cost this year.

I just saved myself 1000 dollars by fixing my refrigerator.

He wanted $$$ to repair, so that gave me the confidence to try the repair myself.
