Pros & Cons
Pros
Karen kingsbury's book is a gritty look at human * trafficking. This is a compelling and yet tragic story because human trafficking could be happening in our own cities.
This story is tastefully and beautifully written. The novel is one of heartbreak and hope, tragedy and new life. Although the story is fiction it is not far-fetched and quite believable.
This book is an incredible story, well written and interesting as well as informative. I thoroughly enjoyed every word read and i highly recommend it. Thank you to netgalley and atria books for the chance to read this novel.
Karen kingsbury pulls back the veil to reveal an ugly reality. She also shows the bravery of those who bring freedom.
Cons
The plot is far fetched. The characters are one dimensional. The dialogue is cheesy.
