Pros

I enjoy him immensely. This is a replacement for the one my father gave me and in youthful negligence i lost.

With a reference for wood, woodworking and american truth and lore. From wooden hinges to oak leaves and a lot in between.

Not only is the text lively and informative, but exquisitely illustrated by the author. Such beautiful drawings and sketches.

This book has a lot of information that 80% of the people alive today are unaware of. Brilliant historical accounts of a bygone era. They are accurate texts yet still make you feel a sense of fantasy for yesteryear.

Cons

This is not an original, a reprint from sometime between 1970 and 2021; it is a cheap reproduction done on some guy's less-than-average dot matrix printer. The written parts and illustrations are almost half the size of the actual pages. Hard to truly... Read More
