Pros & Cons
Pros
To me, the ending deserves a standing ovation. Once the story gets going, it's as compelling as you could ask. I am sorry that it took me so long to read this book, however i believe that it was far more enjoyable than having read it under duress as a... Read More

She knows retribution is best when it has time to marinade, and during this story her time ripens. Strongest madame defarge, the revolutionary villainess sans merci.
Sydney carton is an orphan and morose loner who can't pin his restless nature down. Lucie manette marries into the evrémonde family, which, if there is a single pivot on which the story turns, is that pivot.

Cons
This mass marketed paperback book is cheap, and very small. The book itself is unreadable -- type is tiny and faded throughout.
It appears they just repackaged this edition from another digital edition. It seems to be referencing an audible book. Is that what collector's library means?
The story-telling is cumbersome and sometime confusing. There are large chunks of narratives about irrelevant details. The dialogues are pretentious and unnatural.
