Highlights
Quality
Fifty five plus years later, so glad for the opportunity to read for the first (real) time.
The edition is pretty but it is easily damaged so not the quality i was hoping for.
While difficult to start with the unfamiliar writing style of the time, it was quick to grab and hold me to the end.
Having read *a tale of two cities* before, at least i was familiar with the story arc and the main characters.
Packaging/appearance
We're directly beside characters in the thick of turmoil, including a blow-by-blow description of the storming of the bastille.
Competitiveness
I read this book during a pandemic and protest of racial injustice in the usa and throughout the world.

Nothing quite beats the fauximmediacy of a welltold tale that puts us right in the picture of something that happened over 300 years ago
