Pros & Cons
Pros
Gb (2x 8gb) sticks work perfectly for upgrading an older computer. Computer runs like a gazelle with the upgraded memory!
Cons
When checking system properties most of the time it only recognizes 24gb of ram. Better to spend little bit more money and save frustration. The memory upgrade works, but that's all i can say - any 'generic quality' memory would work.

I have found though that the latest games all seem to do much better with 16gb of ram instead of just 8 gb which seems to causes a lot of swapping that slows things down to a crawl
