Pros

Old laptops are incredible performers, inexpensive, and cheap to free. Gigabyte z370m ds3h board, intel 8th gen core. Up and running with 32gb (from 8gb) now. Greatly improved the speed of my internet use.

Cons

After re-booting, mdsched. The crashes occur after using for as little as 5 minutes to up to 45 minutes. Returning them to the seller for a refund.

As long as you match the speed, in this case 2400 mhz, it should work with other brands.
