Pros
The ram works perfectly with my synology nas as advertised. There were no compatibility issues. Both work great after i got them fully inserted.
Cons
Blue light always keep on flashing and dsm never boots up. Not compatible with synology nas. Wste of money.

Most importantly synology dsm does not pop any warnings about using unsupported memory like other 3rd party memory

My nas never booted up and was stuck on the blue blinking light that many others have experienced

An 8gb stick was a bit of overkill for my needs anyways so i just settled on wanting to see if any amount of ram upgrade would work at all

A few seconds of the blue blinking light and then i could hear the hard drives spinning up and then the ready beep a few minutes later
