The instructions that come with the memory are clear. Have had zero issues. Popped these in today after watching a youtube vid on the proper order of installation. First boot up. Make sure to put them every other slot.

Installed in 2020 27 imac. Makes my computer super-powered! Best of imac ram. And power hungry fusion 360 is snappy he *.

Along with the 8 gb already installed, gave me 40gb of ram.

Couldn't get them to install at 2666 with the existing 8gb chips.
