Popped these in today after watching a youtube vid on the proper order of installation (kept my original 2-4gig ram) first boot up. Closed up, plugged back in and turned on.
Seems to be working so far, but had one hiccup during installation. Running like a champ now. Have had zero issues.

I have a newer imac, and this worked for me. Installed in 2020 27 imac. Works perfectly in my 2020 imac 27”. Too bad the newer models no longer allow uogrades.
Cons
This ram is garbage. Do not buy. Thankfully amazon excepts returns on this product. Clearly disinterested in helping problem solve the issue.

That ram caused my new imac to repeatedly crash as soon as a program (lightroom) tried to access it.
The ram chips did not lock in the first time i placed them, then i simply reversed them and they clicked right in.
