Sophia is an orphan pretending to be a noblewoman. There is no foreshadowing to what she is going to be doing, and no consequence to an orphan trying to pass herself off as a noble (apparently bad in this world) sophia is a sophia.

The reason for 4 and not 5 stars, i felt there could have been more depth of character and build of of each supporting character.

I like the fast pace, and plot twists and the main characters are my new heroines now.

These orphaned sisters went through harsh times and hard experiences that may be troubling for some easily triggered readers.

I know this is a multi-book series yeah for some reason i was completely blindsided when things took a left turn.
