Although there were some parts that were written not as eloquent as possible, this story was unbelievably gripping.
The binding of the book is not good, it already separated.
Price
It was longer than i was used to but it all paid off in the end.
Packaging/appearance
Enjoyable in ebook, or hardcover, best when bound in fine leather by castalia library.
Competitiveness
I read a grand total of about a 1/4 of book one in a song of ice and fire series, george martin's work is inferior to vox on every level.
Many readers are drawing comparisons between vox day's book here and george rr martin's ice and fire series.
Unlike lotr, this book (as well as its sequel), especially the big battle sequences, read more like war and peace and less like leviticus.

The book is very digestible and easy to pick up at any point in the story as it is broken down into short chapters each of which is named after a character

The workman like writing style lacks beautiful prose of some authors but doesnt take away from the story

It starts slow as with most epic fantasy due to the number of characters introduced and foundation being laid for a large and complex plot
