Pros & Cons
Pros
The snapcaps siphone and load into my rifle smoothly. They chamber and eject just fine in my ruger 10/22.
Cons
The first time each snap cap is used, the firing pin leaves a massive dent in the rim which has a sharp point protruding. Tested in both my * and rifle and the rim is already destroyed and chipped with just a few uses.
Aluminum is not the right material for snap caps. Throw away that one, try a drywall anchor or plastic. These ''* rounds'' are not snap - caps.
Merely * rounds for practicing reloading. Dry-firing. The fine print warns that these are not for dry firing. They are inconsistent with all other a-zoom loads.
Highlights
Quality
Mag function, trigger work, bolt function, ejector function and firing pin.
They are perfect for practicing and teaching someone how to load and unload the firearm correctly.
The firing pin strikes cause the anodizing to start to chip off, and i don't like the idea of getting anodizing chips in my receiver.
These dummy rounds load and cycle just like live rounds on both my rifle and pistol.
Packaging/appearance

They’re not meant for dry firing and it states that on the packaging, so be aware but it was great for my purposes.
Competitiveness
They cycle much better than the steel rounds i purchased from another brand.

However being soft aluminum the strikers are leaving the rims of the rounds pretty jagged
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Im concerned these jagged edges are going to scratch at the steel of magazines and receivers

Thankfully the p22 has an external hammer

I can keep dryfiring on the same round so i dont chew up more dummy rounds

The ruger on the other hand ill need to handfeed to avoid cycling the jaggedrimmed rounds before dryfiring

I would like them much better if they didnt become jagged after being 34fired34
