Pros

The primer substitute is resilient plastic to absorb the firing pin strike. They cycle without issue in my marlin allowing me to practice shouldering and firing. Also the filler used in the primer spot is flush.

Bought 2 packs of 45-70 to use with my marlin 1895 lever gun. These are to complete a set of other calibers that i have. Allows working the action on my 1895 with shells, not empty.

These snap caps are great beacuse they're aluminum. They still function fine, but for how much longer is a different question. That is standard really if you are extensively using snapcaps. A zoom makes excellent snap caps.

Cons

The aluminum extractor rim is too soft. It gets ripped by the extractor.
