They attach to orbit timers easily and allow the units to hang vertically from faucets thereby preventing any chance of the plastic timer connections breaking

This could have gotten 5 stars were it not for the cheap washer that so many hose products have nowadays

It leaked leaving many people to give this and many other garden hose products a bad review blaming it on the poorly manufactured hose when in fact more often than not its just a crappy washer

When wound on the reel the water flow was poor because the hose was choked off

But i am using this on a portable lawn sprinkler and it was very difficult to screw on because the spring around the hose goes right up to both ends so you have to be able to get your fingers just around the screw part
