Pros & Cons
Pros
The side walls are easy to install with the velcro lining. It is heavy and takes 2 people to setup-breakdown. Still standing and no leaks.
Set this canopy up in the open range of texas for a tough mudder event. This canopy is great quality and very sturdy once put up.
This is my second one and it’s not beachside my first one broke. After purchasing 2 other garbage canopies- this one is a dream!
Cons
Canopy is most definitely not water resistant let alone waterproof. They claim to have a 1 year warranty for the frame. No one seems to make a decent pop-up canopy for commercial use anymore, they are all junk.
The language barrier is difficult to navigate. The customer service is terrible and obviously comes from foreign countries. They’re a bogus customer support team and i don’t expect to get any satisfaction from them.
There are three capped posts stuffed into the frame after the plastic was put on. It’s like putting a semi tight sock on the a tent frame. There is no zipper that runs the length of the bag.
Highlights
Quality
It goes up easy, very sturdy and the canopy fits the frame nice.
It is very sturdy and i appreciate the walls that come with it because the sun is constantly moving.
I purchased it due to its suggested quality as i have had and seen many others like it fail.
Its got very thin, small wheels, and only opens on the end.
Price
Great value and easy to set up.
I didn't feel i should have to pay this, even though it was out of warranty, for a canopy i originally paid $257 for.
Massive canopy for <$300 is a steal .
We didn't want to spend over $150 for a new canopy but decided to 'splurge' - so glad we did.
Shipping
We were sent the incorrect tent and had to return it and then we were sent one that was broken.
I wrote to customer service; sent them pictures and they wanted me to pay $40 for two small pieces.
Packaging/appearance
I found that wrapping the tent in the plastic bag it came in first helps!
It comes with a really nice canvas bag for storage.
It came with 4 sand bags which i filled with rocks.
Competitiveness
The push up feature of this tent makes it so easy to put up the tent as opposed to getting the academy tents.
Seems a lot better then the cheaper lighter ones.
I've had colleagues go through three cheap tents in the same time i've had this one.
