Pros & Cons
Pros
The strap and eyelet are a different story. This is a replacement for a white undercover canopy tent that lasted well until the big blow that hit the east cost a week ago.
This is one of the sturdiest canopies i have ever owned. My dad and i both fix windshield dings and as long as you occasionally tighten the screws, the fame is extremely sturdy. The metal frame & fabric are so dang sturdy.
Cons
Either the seams aren't taped or aren’t taped well. It leaks in several places in moderate to heavy rain.
Buyer beware for the amount that these cost and the customer service return. Just decided to buy 16mil tarp costing me only 35usd. Breaking on the first use in such a manner is unacceptable.
That is why it was 2 days past warranty. It appears there really isn't a viable warranty.
Highlights
Quality
Extremely sturdy and strong; because i was not sure initially, i used stakes; and had back up sandbags which i did not need.
Great materials and glad we choose this one over the others
We need to be able to unbag and get these things up fast and have been through several models to find a quality product.
What i was disappointed by was the canopy itself ripped after 2 years.
Price
For whatever reason the purple top was like $30 cheaper.
Theirs was also brand new and ours was only about 30$ more.
So amazon you should adjust the price (like that might actually happen).
Easier for 2, of course, but not a big deal for one.
Shipping
Amazing that we found the old one down on monday, ordered this one on tuesday, delivered on thursday and it was up before lunch on friday.
Setup just in time for a short lite rain with 15mph wind guests.
Packaging/appearance
The box arrived with duct tape holding it together, and when we opened the carton it was apparent that the canopy had been prev... Read More
The picture was deceiving cause when folded the carrying case was up to the person's shoulders but the case is 67" high, either... Read More
Competitiveness
I’ve had 2 of another brand of canopy, which were harder to put up than might be expected.
The frame seems a lot sturdier than the wenzel.
